Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands archipelago, just over 2 hours flight from UK; and a lot less from many parts of France, Germany and Italy. Majorca's history traces back to 6000 BC and since 1952 has been a top destination for package holidays taking advantage of its amazing weather as it basks in the Mediterranean sun.

These magnificent luxury Spanish Villa and holiday cottages are situated just outside Puerto Andratx (we are located on the road between Puerto Andratx and Andratx Town, a 25 minute drive from Palma airport) and you are never too far from all the top sights on this beautiful Mediterranean island.

The charming town of Puerto Andratx is a 15 min stroll from the Villa and benefits from a beautiful yacht-filled harbour, with an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants and a nightclub. There is also a large supermarket for essentials. The original town of Andratx was built slightly away from the port as a defence from roaming pirates, with narrow cobbled streets and the almost fortress-like church of Santa Maria. The buildings and view over this old town is ideal for photographers and artists.

The Yacht Club with designer shops and sailing facilities are just 1km away and some of the local Villas are owned by celebrities like Claudia Schiffer, Tom Cruise and Michael Schumacher who have managed to find this beautiful corner of the Mediterranean currently undiscovered by most of the major tour operators, making it a great place for independent travelers.

For golfers, one of Mallorca's newest golf courses opened in 2000; Andratx Golf Course is just 5km away (18 holes, Par 72 - its design is credited to the Gleneagles Golf Development).
